March 22 Math Class

In classes earlier in march we have been learning type one and type 2 equations in algebra. Today we learned that we would be doing type 3 and type four equations.
All we have to add is one or two steps.
Type two equations are pretty much the same except you have to undo more steps.
Here is an example...



Most people havn't seen the variable in brackets before but don't PANIC it's easy. Since there is multiplication out side of the brackets you have to times everything in the brackets by three. So then the brackets are gone and you now have a type 2 equation. Just make sure to watch the negatives and positives. Oh and don't forget to check your answer!












So now here you see anouther type three equation. As you can see there is a fraction in brackets. Scary i know but just go step by step. First you have to multiply everything in the brackets by four. So them that gets rid of the brackets. Then you just have to work it out normally like a type two equation.
