Relative Frequency

relative Frequency is a ratio of the number of times a particular outcome or event occurred to the total number of times the experiment was conducted.

For example a teacher asks her class, "what's the main reason you use computer:


Internet, Games, word processing, or something else?"





To make a frequency table, first list each item in the data. Then count and record the number of


times each item occurs. Using a tally will help you count.
